What we'll ask you for.
You do not need every certificate on day one. We do need to know which ones you hold, so we put you forward for roles you can walk into.
Clinical roles
- Active GDC registration, for every dentist and dental care professional
- For orthodontic roles, entry on the GDC Specialist List
- For implant roles, a postgraduate qualification in implantology (MSc or Diploma) meeting FGDP and GDC training standards
- For dental nurses, the NEBDN Level 3 Diploma or an apprenticeship equivalent
- For radiographer nurses, the IR(ME)R 2017 certificate; for sedation nurses, the NEBDN sedation certificate; for implant nurses, the NEBDN implant certificate
Practice and patient-journey roles
- Treatment co-ordinators: experience presenting private treatment, from Invisalign and implants to cosmetic care, and turning a consultation into a plan the patient goes ahead with
- Practice managers: CQC compliance, staff leadership and the day-to-day running of a practice
- Front of house: the first voice a patient hears, and the reason they arrive feeling looked after
- No GDC registration needed for these roles
